The Weather Lottery

Join the Invest in ME Research lottery to win up to £25,000!

The Weather Lottery is Great Britain’s leading fundraising Lottery. They guarantee that a minimum of 37% of every £1 you spend goes directly to the charity and it could be up to 65% after all costs and prizes have been paid.

When you join, you’ll be given a unique 6 digit Lucky Number to be entered into the weekly Weather Lottery draw. If you choose more than one entry, you’ll be given a separate Lucky Number for each entry.

The Weather Lottery result is based on the last digit of the Fahrenheit temperatures from 6 popular European destinations that are currently published in the Daily Mail on the day of the weekly draw.

The more numbers you match in order, the bigger the prize, and it’s easy to see if you’ve won. Match all 6 numbers and you win £25,000! The prize money won’t be shared and it doesn’t cost the charity a penny if you win.

Let’s Win £1,000 Again!

Earlier this year, your nominations won Invest in ME Research a wonderful £1,000 award in specialist insurer Ecclesiastical’s #MovementForGood. Here is our chance to do it again thanks to the company’s #12Days of Giving.

Nominations are open now and remain open until midnight before the day of each draw. You need only nominate once and your nomination carries over to the next day if the charity does not win.

Draws will take place each weekday from 5 – 20 December 2019. 

Winners will be drawn at random and the more nominations Invest in ME Research receives the greater the chance of them winning, so please spread the word and encourage your friends, family, contacts, to nominate too!

The charity believes that biomedical research into ME is crucial in order to make progress in treating this disease. We also believe that education of healthcare staff, the media, government departments, patient groups and patients is to be a priority.

The charity’s objectives are to initiate, maintain and augment a strategy of high-quality biomedical research into ME, to provide education about ME, and to raise awareness of the effects of the disease on patients and families.

We are a small charity but with supporters who have big hearts – and a determination to get the best possible research to be carried out to find the cause of myalgic encephalomyelitis and develop treatments.
